and so it begins...

I truly never thought I would BLOG (love how that noun has become a verb;)) I always say how guilty I feel about all the time I take sewing and designing...and taking more time to write on a blog would just send me into a shame spiral about devoting precious minutes of time to THAT--when I could be spending it with my children and family!
However, I've decided to just give up sleep for awhile in order to accomplish everything I want to do...so no worries--its all taken care of....he he...

AND...I always thought "HOW embarrassing to have a blog and NO-one reads or responds to it"...I'd feel like a wall-flower...the only girl who didn't get asked to dance...

But I'm over that too...even if this only amuses my family and friends and myself...that is something!

I've been busy busy sewing and coming up with some things so I can get some outfits in the mail and then finish some planned portrait outfits to take with us to the beach this weekend and hopefully get some fantastic pictures of not only the outfits, but also all my children! (that sounded like a soap opera "all my children"...whoops). I'll post pics when I get a sec:)

Hey! I stumbled across your blog and I will come back and read it when you add a post! It is always intriguing to learn about the world of fellow momma-prenuers. I' slow about adding to my blog too but I think after you get the hang of it, it must get a lot faster and easier to think of topics and such. Good LUCK with the blog!

I would have about died if my London said that!!! She is 3 and goes to school 2 mornings a week. SHe always tells me that the boys are the princes and they get to marry me- each day she comes home with a different boy's name that she married that day- that is about all her daddy can take. Sounds like you handled it very calmly though! I am new to blogging too, and it was actually really hard for me the first few posts. I can't tell you the last time I had to write something for an adult to read, somehow my wrinting and speaking for that matter have come down to a 3yr old level over past few years at home. Someone told me people love pics, so I try to put a bunch in mine the just ramble on like I am talking to myself- I think there are only about 4-5 people reading mine anyway :). Oh, I just got tagged, so I am tagging you next! Come to my blog and see what you have to do!

Natalie-
You are an amazing person and a fantastic designer. I know what you mean about taking time to blog means taking time away from designing and sewing and what if a downward spiral occurs. It's hard to keep up with all the things we want to get done. I can't wait to meet you in Portland. Hugs, Eva

Don't look at blogging as time away from your family, look at it as time spent on you! As Moms, we spend so much time doing for others, we get pushed to the back of the line. I know that in my case, I am more important than dirty laundry! :)
Welcome to blogging!
